Dear David Newell,

As much as I love you, as much as I think you are a legend among men, and despite the fact that you're the only lecturer who can make me drag my lazy carcass out of bed at 8am for your poetry lectures even though I hate poetry... If you do not stop messing with my emotions and put the god-damn exam results up I will hunt you and kill you.

david newell is the only thing i like about the english lit department.

not yet, sadly, but i've heard he's almost as lovely. mr. newell gave one of the girls in my flat a book of happy poems when she started freaking about essays. i wish it'd been me...

nope,still no sign of them (they were supposed to be up yesterday.)

the competitive child in me needs to know i've done better than everyone else in the block.
